Since we’ve just recently launched this website, we only have testimonials for our other website fadalcnc.com and our service as a CNC service and parts provider. All testimonials below are for Fadal CNC.
Thank you... to you and Herb for the outstanding service!!
This is in regard to a Fadal 4020 VMC that was "down" in our production area at Silfex in Ohio. Our Purchasing Dept. requested parts from your facility and discovered you have repairmen in the field. The local source we have used could not diagnose the root cause of our problem and was also behind in their service calls.
Austin Watts promptly came to our facility in Eaton, Ohio and dug into the problem. Once the parts were rec'd next day, early delivery, Austin finished the repair. It was great to find out he was capable of running a ball bar test and enhance the VMC with a laser ball screw comp. The machine is running better than it has in the last 4 years.
We appreciate the quality and depth of service you offer. Austin was very efficient and well schooled. On top of that he was a perfect gentleman. We would be glad to use his service when needed in the future.
If you need a reference, I would be glad to concur. I always say, you are your own best advertising. We are only as good as our support from folks like you. Art Glidden (Maint Mgr) and I thank you.

You should really feel good about the image that your company projects.
When a company ( a little one like mine anyway) calls for a part, it is probably a VERY bad day at their shop. And, with the economy as bad as it is ( the worst we've seen it in our business in 23 years) they probably:
(1) can't afford the part ( not budgeted for it),
(2) can't afford the time it takes to be down waiting on a part,
(3) can't afford the labor time it takes to install the part...but ...
(4) can't afford NOT to get the part and try to effect a repair themselves if at all possible because they can't afford a tech to come in and charge thousands and possibly leave them down too.
I know it sounds like "poor mouthing" but the truth is the truth and that is where most of us find ourselves with reducing business and aging equipment, and when we do finally dial the phone and inquire about our parts needs and options....it is SO REFRESHING...so appreciated...when the person on the other end see's us as a customer, tries to help us, and understands that we didn't budget for the failure and are desperate to get the machine going as soon as possible. And guess what...over the past year, that is exactly what I have gotten each time I have called or emailed CNCPROS.
Your attitude toward your customers is a blessing.
Merry Christmas to all y'all.
- Larry S., G
I would like to thank you for solving our problems with our Fadal mill.
It was very relaxing to see you work on the machine (nobody could have moved more efficiently). You also anticipated any parts required and had them with you.
Furthermore you managed to update the software which was attempted twice before (18hrs) by other Professionals unsuccessfully.
You did it in 3 hrs.
Thank you again for working around our schedule.

I just want to thank you for the advice on how to operate the washdown pump on my new FADAL 5020 A. I was very frustrated trying to figure it out and looking up on the net how to use the pump. I was very disappointed in Wesco and Fadal in general for not helping me on what seemed like a routine question. I almost asked my friend at DOLPHIN MACHINE in Las Vegas but I would have embarrassed both of us.
You came thru for me and I hope I can repay the favor in kind somehow. If you are ever in the area, please stop in and I will buy you a cup of coffee and a doughnut! Maybe lunch if you have the time. I do have an air issue I would like to review with you if you make it here. I've added the M 68 and M 69 codes to my programs and it works great. You are now the first card in my roladex for any CNC related issues. I will definitely be calling on you again when I have any importantCNC issues. You ROCK!
Thank you again,
-Bill D., CA
I would like to thank Herb for all of the advice and assistance he provided me on Friday afternoon. I hope that you could forward this email to him for me.

Thanks for the quick credit!!!
Most of my other vendors drag it on for months and months and it gets annoying.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK ALL!
-Steve F., PA
Thank you for sending this over. We greatly appreciate all of the work and the vendor hospitality you supply us with. You have helped us a lot and supplied a lot of help on issues that we would have tried to figure out on our own and that normally doesn’t turn out too good.
-Jason H., ID
Thanks for the confirmation Brian! At least now I'm not second guessing it. We did refill the reservoirs ( actually used DTE24 hyd but I figured like you said...for that app it would work).
I will get some motor mounts ordered today/tomorrow along with the spindle driver. I guess I'll go with the cheaper driver and pray I'm smart enough to install it.
I really do appreciate the spirit and detail of all your replies. I keep waiting to get the sullen, aggravated, put-out, "how dare you bother us with your pitiful problems" response we are used to from our former parts vendor but it never comes ( and that is borderline miraculous), so "Thank you" again for having a tight ship that gets-it.
- Larry S., GA (again)
You guys are a life saver, thanks for what you do, these guys should be ordering a ball screw rite now , and in a month or so a monitor and spindle drive.
I also own a Fadal at home and will use you guys as my first source.
Is it me or is Mag machine deindustializing the united states? Fadal gone where is Giddings & Lewis, where are all the companies they bought?
Thanks again for providing and much needed service.

I see you purchased a few parts from us on eBay. Thank you and if you have any problems or concerns please let me know. I have a 15 year collection of new and used Fadal parts that I’m trying to get out from under. I need the space for another business and can’t take the clutter any longer. If you see anything of interest please let me know and we can come up with a package deal. I just posted a lot of used monitors and a lot of dc power supplies.
The shipping is going to squash the monitors but I believe the power supplies are valuable to you. I really don’t know exactly what I have until I go through this process. Anything I have that I think could be of value to you I will give you first shot at. I have really enjoyed working with you folks as everyone always does a great job. Your hard work shines above everyone else. Also I would like to thank you for listing us on your site and Rich sends a bit of business our way. Don’t tell him but the man is a major asset to your company. Stay in touch and I’ll see if we can get you some money makers (Parts)

This morning our oldest Fadal gave up the ghost. Without screaming, whining or getting hot, the spindle locked up. I suppose that for a 15,000 rpm spindle that’s 15 years old we’ve actually done pretty well. I called your people and gave an order to Meiko for a reman spindle and Austin talked with me about any needed accessories (says it all comes with the spindle). I wanted you to know that they were both very professional, personable and all around nice guys - well done - thank you! I would like the old spindle rebuilt and I’ll keep it as a back-up, it’s only a matter of time before another one croaks and I may be buying another 5020A as well - better to be prepared, huh?
Hope you’re doing well my friend

First let me say that I thoroughly enjoy and appreciate your TechTip newsletter. It has been most helpful to our operation and we will soon be calling upon you all for more parts for our Fadal 4020 VMC. We learn a little something new with nearly every publication and have been able to troubleshoot daily issues easier using the information you provide. Not to mention you give us a better understanding of some functions of the machine that frankly aren't clearly written in the machine documentation.
I just wanted to let you know that ALL the links on your website to past TechTips are dead links. Maybe you knew, maybe you didn't. Just making sure you're aware in case someone else out there is in trouble and needs some late night advice.
I have received the invoice/receipt from Rich. I must say I am very impressed with your quality of service and expediency. I enjoy doing business with your company. Looks like we'll be receiving the package today.
- Gary N., MI
All set! you guys took good care of this situation! the Cable will be sent back to you tomorrow! Thanks for all your help. We’re very satisfied with the order and your service.
-Bill B., MA
We were impressed with the high level of service and professionalism from you and your company.
Thanks for getting this order processed quickly and accurately. We will keep you in mind for future replacement parts for our machines.
-Oscar S., CA
I have received the bearings and seals today and we are very happy with your service and impressed with the speed of delivery. I have waited longer to receive parts from suppliers here in Australia, let alone the other side of the world. Thanks very much for your efforts and keep it up, we hope you have a Merry Christmas.
-Sebastian C., SA, Australia
Thank you Diane, the service is fantastic, I thought only New Zealanders were that efficient, you’ve proved me wrong this time.
I guess we will be back some time as we have two of these obsolete beasts to try and keep running on exports to USA.
-Paul K., New Zealand
